Lightsaber
Since 1977, when the first Star Wars movie was released, millions of glowing plastic tubes with
handles have been sold.  Sure, they were fun for a while.  Some lit up, some extended in a telescope
action and some even had accurate sound effects taken straight from the movies.  But at the end of
the day these were just lame toys that couldn’t begin to approach the thrill of what it must be like to
wield the real thing.  Some of these “replicas” cost hundreds of dollars, and all you got was a chrome-
covered plastic handle and nothing more.  You had to imagine the rest.

But now imagine if everyone that ever bought one of those toys had instead pooled their money, and
invested it with the goal of creating a Light
saber that actually worked.  We would be a lot closer to
living the dream than we are today.  So, let’s leave the toys for the kids.  Together we can begin work
on crafting the most elegant of weapons, one that only the greatest of warriors is worthy of.
